The campus is somehow closed, but the students don’t stop. Assignments, project submissions, electronic circuit building competitions ... how much work! Faisal Imroz, Rana Chandra and Ayman Al Sami, students of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Information Technology and Sciences (UITS) are busy with this. Classes, group meetings, presentations and project creation. one after the other. Faisal Imroz said, ‘We are studying in the last semester of the university. And a few days later began his career. Students have the opportunity to publish research articles in the Journal of Business Studies, the Journal of Science and Engineering, and the Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences.

 

The University of Information Technology and Sciences (UITS) was launched in 2003. The permanent campus of the university is at Bhatara in Dhaka. At present 10 subjects are being taught in 4 faculties. University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Mohammad Solaiman said, "We are working to ensure that our students have the opportunity to learn effectively about the skills they need to meet the challenges of future careers. 


We have been involved in classes with students online in many ways since before Corona. Efforts are being made to develop the skills as well as the creativity of the students. The aim of these activities is to connect with successful professionals and experts, as well as inspire students to innovate from the university. The university authorities are emphasizing that the study of students should not be hampered due to economic reasons in the crisis of Corona. Various scholarships as well as financial assistance have been provided to motivate the students.

Students in the Department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering (EEE) at the University of Information Technology and Sciences are now quite busy. They are working on their final year project. In the meantime, there is an opportunity to see the student's project - electro-mechanical ventilator. Abu Bakar Siddique, Adil Adnan, Kazi Emdad, Atiqur Rahman, Mazharul Islam, Shariful Islam Chowdhury and Shovon Islam have created this low-cost ventilator. Titumir, a member of the team, said, "The ventilator used to treat corona is expensive. 


Our ventilators are very affordable. We have made ventilators for 18-19 thousand rupees. 'The focus is on developing the practical knowledge of the students of all the departments of the university. Teachers are taking care of what the students are learning in the classroom to solve various problems in real life. That is why Sheikh Saadi, another student of EEE department, has created an 'automated hand sanitizing device'.
